Kristi answers the 2010 Liberty Candidate questions below:

1a. What is your view of the monetary system in the US today?

THE FEDERAL RESERVE IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The Constitution established commodity monies, specifically, silver and gold coinage as the money of the United States. Article I, Section 10, Clause 1 disallows states to impose on unwilling creditors anything but gold and silver coin as a tender in payment of debts. This reflects Congress’ prevention to declare anything other than gold and silver coin as legal tender. And Article I, Section 8, Clauses 1, 2, and 5; Section 10, Clause 1; and the Fifth, Ninth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments, IN PROPER CONTEXT, would deny Congress and the states any power to seize people’s gold or silver, except through taxation, or to prevent specific performance of private contracts payable in silver, gold, or any monetary medium. Remember the 1930s and Roosevelt? The government should not be a player with respect to the private market of privileging banks or other financial institutions.

1b. What is primarily responsible for a large percentage of our nation’s current economic, social and political problems?

GOVERNMENT AT ALL LEVELS! Our federal government has been bought off by progressive Socialist and Communist from around the world. Congress has traded the Constitutional provisions of small government, individual right’s, and the protection of America’s liberty for self-promoting, pocket-padding, Republic destroying agendas.

1c. What corrective actions would you work to implement?

Join with other like-minded Representatives to ENACT LEGISLATION THAT WILL:

  • Mandate all new bills be evaluated for Constitutional authority ~ (Enumerated Powers Act, Shadegg-Coburn)
  • Promote FairTax
  • Repeal 16th Amendment
  • Repeal Patriot Act
  • Dissolve NAFTA
  • Repeal McCarran-Ferguson Act
  • Return authority to states

1d. Do you agree or disagree with the actions the Federal Reserve has taken to address the financial/economic crisis? and why?

I DON’T AGREE WITH THE FEDERAL RESERVE, PERIOD! The Federal Reserve has done nothing but create panic, chaos, and a market for self empowerment. It is a tyrannical system out of control. The Fed is anti-free market, imposes a hidden tax without representation, loots the public treasury, produces political favors to political allies, and facilitates the redistribution of wealth. The Federal Reserve must be audited and through gradual means that will not disrupt our current monetary system, be eliminated.

2a. What are your thoughts on American sovereignty in an age of globalism?

OUR FOUNDERS WERE AMERICAN FOCUSED WITH LOYALTY FOR THE AMERICAN CITIZENS AS A FOREMOST OBJECTIVE. America is a beacon of light for the world providing, justice, domestic tranquility, defense, welfare, and the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity as a direct result of our sovereignty. International law is binding on the United States only to the extent that it is endorsed and enforced, within the United States, by our own government. Our own law has priority and should remain that way. To the globalist, American quality of life and success is an embarrassment which must be corrected. Our wealth, however, has been the saving grace for many a nation when disaster has hit them. Sovereignty must be protected.

2b.What is the biggest source of influence and actions in US government agencies and policies that has been damaging to American sovereignty?

I believe the greatest source of injustice to our American sovereignty has been SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS MEANT TO FURTHER INCREASE AMERICA’S DEPENDENCY ON THE GOVERNMENT. Subliminal messages that are slowly infringing on the minds of citizens causing people to rely on government to provide for their welfare is reducing the people to enslaved citizens rather than independent Americans. The agenda of the global elite is to turn us from productive independent people into a serving class of dependents who must rely on government programs and charity…all of this being taxpayer funded.

2c. What can be done to limit these influences?

AN ABSOLUTE RETURN TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL FOUNDATION OF AMERICA IS IMPERATIVE IN ORDER TO RECOVER OUR NATION. Few Americans realize that up until 1937 the Congress of the United States conducted its business within the boundaries of seventeen enumerated powers granted under Article I Section 8 of the United States Constitution. These powers defined clearly the areas of national purposes over which Congress could enact legislation. Anything not set down in the enumerated powers was considered outside the purview of the national government and hence, a matter for the states. Our federal government needs to return, immediately, to these principles. Additionally, it is imperative that our youth be taught TRUE American history, that American patriotism be revived in the schools, and that our young people are once again valued in society and educated with the tools that will help them to continue America’s heritage as a free-enterprise and leader in innovation. Our children must be taught to be proud to be American.

3. What are your views on the necessity of the Patriot Act to protect America?

THE PATRIOT ACT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL USURPATION OF INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. The Patriot Act expands law enforcement’s surveillance and investigative powers to unprecedented heights is one of the most significant threats to civil liberties, privacy, and our Republic form of government. It eliminates accountability of the Government, eliminates privacy rights for individual Americans, and creates more secrecy for Government activities so that it is nearly impossible to tell what the right and left hands are doing. The federal government has turned American liberty and freedom into mockery with their unchecked spying on ordinary Americans.

4. What is your opinion on current US foreign policy?

As with so many other things our government is doing, MANY OF OUR FOREIGN POLICIES ARE CONSTITUTIONALLY UNFOUNDED AND SERVE TO PROMOTE EVOLVEMENT INTO A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. I support the Monroe Doctrine which asserts that the Western Hemisphere is not to be further colonized by European countries, and that the United States would not interfere with existing European colonies nor in the internal concerns of European countries. NATO is not an expansion of the Monroe Doctrine is a usurpation of the Monroe Doctrine’s framework. The United States troops should not be employed on any foreign field of battle without a declaration of war by Congress.

Great Thoughts Kristi, it’ll be nice to finally have someone in Congress following the US Constitution and actually representing their constituents. Common Sense, Honor and integrity are four words that are seemingly lost on our society and elected representatives today and I believe that you have all of those qualities.
